NYCC 2026 HIGHLIGHTS: 20 Year celebration of fandom.

Updated: 2 days ago
We were back to attend one of the Mecca's of all things Anime, Comics, Movies, and Games as New York Comic-Con celebrates their 20 year anniversary.
For the 6th year in a row NYCC brought fans the best in their favorite fandoms with major appearances from figures in the world of comics, TV, film, and more.
This year fans got the chance to see their favorite fandoms including the return of Marvel Television & Animation who gave us more to be excited about for the next stage of projects involving our heroes in the MCU.
We also got a chance to see one of the most iconic actors of our generation make his grand appearance at Empire stage discussing his long and celebrated career.
For anime Otaku, they were once again graced with the presence of a new Dragon Ball panel along with the return of One Piece and for video game fans the cast of Final Fantasy 7: Revelation.
Let's rundown some of the great events during this epic week.

This year's panels that I attended brought the energy that fans needed to be excited for the future of Anime, Comics, Movies, and Games with some huge announcements, appearances, sneak peek, and early screening of things to come. Along with that, some panels once again provided fans with some cool exclusive merch items that makes the experience more memorable and excited to attend such a grand event. As always NYCC provides dozens upon dozens of great panels for fans to attend. This year we headed to the Main Stage and Empire Stage to check out some of the most epic appearances including Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, Dragon Ball Super Beerus, The FLASH, MARVEL Television & Animation, an appreciation panel starring Nicholas Cage, and a very special NARUTO panel. All of which did not disappoint in terms of announcements and some cool giveaways in the process. Here are the results of those panels.

We kicked off the week with the anticipated return of the cast from FINAL FANTASY 7 as they hype fans up for the final installment of the FF7 Remake trilogy from Square Enix (available on all major consoles on April 8, 2027).
The entire cast including Cody Christian (Cloud), John Eric Bentley (Barret Wallace), Britt Baron (Tifa Lockhart), Briana White (Aerith Gainsborough), Suzie Yeung (Yuffie Kisaragi), Paul Tinto (Cait Sith), J. Michael Tatum (Cid Highwind), Matthew Mercer (Vincent Valentine), Max Mittelman (Red XIII), Caleb Pierce (Zack Fair), Travis Willingham (Sephiroth) who is replacing previous actor and voice of the One Winged Angel Tyler Hoechlin.
This was the first the the entire core cast of the legendary game came together to discuss what we can expect from the epic conclusion of the trilogy.
Cast members shared their personal experiences as their respective characters and what it meant to them to play those important roles. They even showed video clips of Cody Christian (Cloud) in the recording booth working hard to get the right tone of Cloud right. Christian talked about what he would talk to peers and friends and tell them that "4 hours in a booth feels more exhausting than 16 hours in a set because of the level of hyperfocus that is involved."
This is something I have heard many times before with actors who work voice roles and live action roles. Working the booth is another dimension of diligence and skill.
Travis Willingham (Sephiroth) discussed what it meant for him to takeover the role that Superman actor Tyler Hoechlin worked on for the first two games.
Suzie Yeung was asked about Yuffie's deeper involvement into the third installment as fans will get the chance to enter the Wutai village for the first time in the trilogy's history.
We also got a first look at the village and what to expect including Yuffie's grappling ability to traverse through the village.

But the biggest surprise came with the announcement of Critical Role member and wife of Matthew Mercer actor Marisa May making her FF7 debut in the game playing the role of Polydroid Shiva, a polygonal, virtual version of the familiar ice summon.
May was sitting in the crowd as they announced her appearance in the game as well as some exclusive footage of her voicing the role in a recording booth for the game which featured her character talking to Vincent Valentine (Mercer's character).
This panel not only gave us much to look forward to but also an exclusive merch bag commemorating the event. A great way to start an incredible we of fanfare.
However this is just the beginning. We quickly head to the other side of the Javits Center to attend always impactful and fun filled Dragon Ball panel as they presented their latest series DRAGON BALL SUPER: BEERUS.

Bird Studio once again returned to NYCC to reveal the beautifully remastered and reanimated series DRAGON BALL SUPER: BEERUS where fans got to get a first look at what the series has to offer.

First off yes, this is a panel promoting a series that has been seen in a multitude of media from film, to series, and even video games.
So when the news that Bird Studio/Toei Animation would be producing a brand new series retelling the story of Goku facing off against Beerus the Destroyer (a story first introduced to us in theaters on Japan on March 30, 2013 and in North America on August 5, 2014 which later led to the premiere of Dragon Ball Super on July 5, 2015) some have questioned why the need for another series?
One would argue that those same people who complained about another series retelling the tale of Goku's most epic encounters are most likely the same fans who spoke out about the lack of quality in animation and character design the original Super series had which many felt did not live up to the franchise standards nor the late great legend Akira Toriyama's legacy.
Consequently, Toriyama made many decisions before his unfortunate and untimely passion to make things right. One of which was Dragon Ball Daima which was his redemption from the disappointing fan reaction of Dragon Ball GT.
This series is set to make right what fans negatively mentioned the most about the first few sagas of the Super series which include much improved animation and character design that truly represents the Toriyama tradition and art style that drew fans into the series and anime in general.
The panel was hosted and moderated once again by the very talented Monica Rial (voice of Bulma) with special guest Jason Douglas (the voice of Beerus) making his NYCC Empire Stage debut and the returning and always animated and entertaining Ian Sinclair (voice of Whis) who provide fans with what they were excited about with the new series including:
New and redrawn animation: A large volume of shots are being added or redrawn.
Reconstructed storytelling: The narrative is being reworked rather than simply rebroadcast unchanged.
More immersive battles: Updated visuals aim to make the fights feel more dynamic and impactful.
Greater fidelity to the manga: The enhanced presentation is intended to reflect Toriyama's original work more closely.
We were also graced with a special video featuring legendary OG voice of Goku, Masako Nozawa and Kōichi Yamadera who voices Beerus in Japan.
In classic Nozawa fashion she ended the video with her iconic Goku battle cry of KAMAHAMAHA! Which gave 3000 fans in attendance in the Empire Stage to join her in the battle cry as they shouted "HAAAAAA.......

We then got the opportunity to watch an early screening of the English dubbed premiere episode of DRAGON BALL SUPER: BEERUS (a version which has yet to air on streaming networks as of this article) and we got to see first hand how great this version of the series looks and sounds on a huge screen.
The animation and art style looks quite similar to the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly which provided a beautiful hand drawn aesthetic which resulted in some climatic and hard hitting battles.
I knew beforehand what this series was intended for and it was even more evident after watching it.
Many left pleased and looking forward to what's to come from the DBS series.
Fans who attended also left with arguably some of the wackiest and coolest gift grab bag giveaways in the form of a huge plastic linked chain with a foam medallion featuring the a graphic of Dragon Ball Super Beerus on it. Also included is a rally towel with Beerus and Ultra Instinct Goku on it.
Once again the Dragon Ball Panel gave fans a lot to look forward to and it is safe to say the legacy of Akira Toriyama is in good hands.

Last year, fans were rewarded with the panel featuring the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. who got the chance to receive flowers from many in attendance as they talked about their love for the show and more. This year that grace went to known other than the cast of The Flash as they came to a packed Empire Stage to talk about their experience during the filming of the Arrowverse's most successful series.
The guest to appear included:
Grant Gustin (Barry Allen / The Flash)
Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon / Vibe)
Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost)
John Wesley Shipp (Henry Allen / Jay Garrick / Barry Allen - The 90's Flash series)
Fans got a chance to hear about some of the BTS things that went on during the filming of the show.
Some of the subjects discussed about the show was:
Grant Gustin revealed how close he came to not auditioning for the role that would define his career.
Gustin said he would love to play The Flash again, although no return has been confirmed which went viral on social media leading fans to let James Gunn know what they wanted for the DCU.
John Wesley Shipp expressed interest in further DC work, including the possibility of exploring Jay Garrick again as well.
Danielle Panabaker reflected on her transition into directing and her creative work behind the camera and how actor and director Tom Cavanagh (Reverse Flash) inspired her to take on the role of director. She also talked about how blessed she was to have such a great cast to work with.
The cast revisited the Arrowverse crossovers, the challenges of long-running television production, and the relationships built over nine seasons.
Fans also got the chance to ask questions to the cast.
Watching this appreciation panel just reminded us of how much fun (and not nearly as toxic) it was to watch comic book shows and movies not only in 2014 but the era that dates back to 2008 and how we were all able to go on social media and enjoy live watch post during this and other great Arrowverse shows. Makes you wonder if we will ever get back to that feeling ever again. Whether we do or not I am grateful to the entire cast and crew of the Arrowverse for giving us something to enjoy for the course of a decade of action packed primetime TV.

And now we get to what is without question the main event of NYCC. Marvel returns to Empire Stage with a look at what's to come in the world of Marvel Television and Animation.

The panel was led by Brad Winderbaum, Marvel's head of television and animation, with moderator Brandon Davis hosting the event. Winderbaum also announced that he is now the head of Marvel Comics as well which adds on to his huge work load.
One of the first big announcements Winderbaum revealed was a new spy thriller series called ZODIAC.

Marvel Comic fans may recognize this based on the pages of the comic universe were a secret evil organization known to have faced off against the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. on many occasions. One member in particular named Scorpio is very interesting as he is the Jake Fury, brother of former S.H.I.E.L.D. commander Nick Fury.
The logo they revealed shows many clues on what the show will be about including the letter "A" with what appears to be the S.H.I.E.L.D. eagle insignia in it. The letter "O" looks like the Arc Reactor leading to believe that Tony's power source will play into this. The information about this new series was minor and vague and there is no guarantee that Jake Fury will be a part of the MCU. But given the hints of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the logo there could be some possibilities. One might also wonder if we will see other members of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. involved in this series.
If that happens it will finally validate my belief that the original series never truly disconnected to the MCU despite fan speculation and Kevin Fiege saying that it is not. If you watched the series recently along with Phase 1 of movies it is hard to say that their connection to the MCU is anything but connected.
MARVEL ZOMBIES

One of the other big announcements came with the reveal of three new Marvel Zombie series coming in the next three years consisting of:
Halloween 2027: Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier
2028: Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu
Halloween 2029: Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian
This begs the question whether we will ever get a follow up to what happened at the end of the first Marvel Zombie series in the final scene of the finale Wanda traps Kamala in a comforting illusion of normal life, but glitches reveal that Earth is still overrun by zombies. The series ends with Zombie Wanda maintaining the deception and the undead seemingly victorious.
Does Kamala survive? What of the other survivors? Will these three specials become standalone series or will this be a continuation of an ongoing saga?
Either way, we are set for a thrilling and action pack time with incredible art style and animation that will no doubt blow our minds....... or eat them.
X-MEN '97 Season 3

We also got an exclusive sneak peek of scenes from season 3 of X-MEN 97' featuring the introduction of "The Brotherhood (of Evil Mutants) consisting of Toad, The Blob, Pyro, and Mystique). We then go to another scene where there appears to be a huge wedding for none other than Rogue and Gambit. The reveal led to huge rockstar level cheers from the packed crowd of fans at Empire Stage along with the appearance of Daredevil with his plus one She-Hulk. This was the moment where my Apple watch gave me a loud decimal level warning about the crowd reaction.
YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN Season 2

Next up, we get news regarding the second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Brandon introduces fans to the executive producer of the series Jeff Tremmel who provides us with some hints on what's to come for season 2.
Fans also got to see the exclusive scene from season 2 that was shown at SDCC earlier this year.
The preview introduced several major developments:
Venom will appear in the new season.
Gwen Stacy returns to the story.
Daredevil also appears in the trailer.
Peter Parker is shown being taken over by the alien symbiote.
Harry Osborn and Eddie Brock, identified as Venom, feature in the preview, alongside Dr. Otto Octavius, or Doc Ock.
The footage also showed Spider-Man battling Doc Ock, with the confrontation escalating from a gala into the New York skyline.
Tremmel also said that we can expect a lot of other appearances from familar characters in the Marvel Comic Universe.
In the finale of season one, we saw Tombstone wield a very familiar staff that belongs to none other than Cardiac who is an on again, off again, enemy/anti-hero to Spider-man (and one of my favorites in his rogue gallery).

CARDIAC (bio from Marvel.com):
Torn by conflict, corporate greed and the deaths of innocents turned Dr. Wirtham into the man he is today: the vigilante Cardiac. Dr. Elias Wirtham was a dedicated physician who, while still a child, lost his older brother to a rare and incurable disease. With that, Elias vowed to become a physician. Graduating from medical school, he went on to build the most powerful medical and biological research empire on the East Coast. Acquiring an older chemical company, he learned that it had produced a drug that could have saved his brother, but kept it off market until the economic climate was more favorable. Enraged and embittered, he vowed to strike at those individuals whose positions or technicalities protected them from the law.
Will we see him appear in season 2 and what role will he play in the latest story for Peter Parker? We will find out soon enough as Jeff Tremmel revealed the premiere date for season 2 which will be on January 13, 2027. Get ready "True Believers!"
DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 3
Then we came to the moment myself and many others were waiting for. We get much anticipated news regarding the third and final season of Daredevil Born Again complete with an appearance from three of the four Defenders of:
Carlie Cox (Matt Murdock / Daredevil)
Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones)
Finn Jones (Danny Rand / Iron Fist)
Noticeably missing from the group was Luke Cage star Mike Colten who couldn't make it due to scheduling commitments. Colten is currently working on his new drama series on CBS called Cupertino where he plays a lawyer looking to fight against the tech industry of Silicon Valley.
One of the subjects brought up was the fact that Daredevil BA will end on the third season and the fan reaction to the news (which from my knowledge was always the plan).
Cox mentioned and addressed the fan campaign known as #SaveDaredevil to keep the character's story going. His comments suggested that he did not necessarily view Season 3 as the absolute end of Daredevil's journey, even though Marvel has identified it as the final season of this series. Before the official return and premiere of the Born Again series Daredevil appeared on multiple shows and films like She-Hulk, Echo, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man (another variant of him in another universe) and Spider-Man No Way Home where he was reintroduced into the MCU after he defended Peter Parker from any crimes as Spider-Man.
With the recent cancellation of other shows and movies it never means that they are completely out of the MCU loop in general. We can absolutely see these characters in future projects.
After we heard from the cast we got an exclusive first look as scenes from Daredevil Season 3 which included:
The Defenders return: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist were shown together in a government building, without Daredevil in the scene.
Matt is imprisoned for his actions as a vigilante The season will mostly focus on Murdock's time in prison and him trying to survive against many he put in there.
We get our first look at Benjamin Poindexter aka Bullseye in his new suit (inspired by the Ultimate Universe comics), as he detonates a bomb in the prison.
We see Matt tears up his orange prison jumpsuit and fashions a new mask before launching into a brutal fight creating a makeshift Daredevil suit.
The footage suggest a darker Matt Murdock who is prepared to pay a steep price for his decision to expose himself and fight Wilson Fisk's control of New York.
WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE REVEAL OF THE DAREDEVIL FOOTAGE:
This panel more than any panel was heavily secure to make sure people attending Empire Stage did not record anything shown on screen. Security felt very intense as if the President was attending this panel. They were prepared and hyper diligent stopping anyone (not staff or press) with an unauthorized use of a camera and they were thorough. During the viewing of the trailer both Charlie Cox and Finn Jones left the stage to watch the trailer with us (the press and staff) in the front stage. Cox did this last year when they revealed the season two trailer with no security guarding his path. Ritter stayed on stage last year and this year. The difference this year is that when they came to sit with us a couple of security swarmed next to them to assure no one would come near them. Safe to say security did their jobs very well.
VISIONQUEST
Finally, we have an appearance from the cast of Marvel's VisionQuest consisting of:
Paul Bettany: Vision
James Spader: Ultron
Ruaridh Mollica: Tommy Shepard
Emily Hampshire: E.D.I.T.H.
Terry Matalas: Series Showrunner
Fans got a glimpse of the trailer for the show.
But the real surprise came when Terry Matalas and Brad Winderbaum gifted fans with an exclusive early screening of episode 1 of VisionQuest.
This year's Marvel T&A panel brought us some great intrigue into the future of the brand.
While fans are heartbroken by the departures of shows like Daredevil Born Again and Wonder Man there is still much to look forward to with the MCU.

For the sixth consecutive year One Piece takes to Empire Stage to reveal the latest news and arc in the long running anime series.
Hosted and moderated once again by the voice of Brook actor, Ian Sinclair, he introduces returning guest Colleen Clinkenbeard (the English voice of Monkey D. Luffy) and first timer to the Empire Stage panel actor Matthew David Rudd who plays the English voice of Loki in the Elbaph Arc.
Fans got to learn more about this latest arc and the actors involvement in it.
Sinclair talked about his role as the skeletal pirate of the Straw Hats and his excitement at learning that Gaban is returning to the series. Ian has always expressed his involvement and dedication to not only the roles he plays but also the mythology of the series as he followed the manga, as well as the character's reappearance which became a particularly meaningful development for him as a performer. He also spoke about his anticipation with fans learning more about Brook's backstory in the upcoming arc.
Rudd talks about the emotional road the Loki character will have in this arc. He also discussed the pressure of voicing a character that fans care deeply about, especially when the character has an important place in the larger One Piece story.
Rudd also got to strut his stuff with as he went into Loki voice on demand for the excitement of the fans. One of the strongest messages to emerge from the cast's NYCC conversations was that the Elbaph Arc would be emotionally intense.
When asked to describe the arc in one word, Sinclair chose “Giant.” But his comments went beyond the scale of the setting.
He warned fans that the upcoming story would contain major revelations and emotional moments. Both Sinclair and Rudd suggested that viewers should prepare themselves for tears, with Sinclair expressing surprise at the idea of anyone making it through the arc without crying.
The new arc begins Oct 20, 2026 on Crunchyroll (Netflix will also have the arc as well in the near future).
In what was one of the most heartwarming moments of the panel came in the form of a special video message from the Japanese voices of Monkey D. Luffy and Loki, actors Mayumi Tanaka and Yūichi Nakamura who not only greeted the fans in attendance at Empire Stage but also gave flowers and praise to both Colleen Clinkenbeard and Matthew David Rudd on their respective roles.
A very emotional Clinkenbeard wipped her tears of happiness at the fact that she was acknowledged by the OG voice of Monkey D. Luffy. In the video we hear Clinkenbeard talk about how much respect she has for Mayumi Tanaka's performance and how she tries to provide the same quality and enery she puts into the character.

One of my most anticipated panels I wanted to cover was an appreciation panel honoring the career highlights of the one and only actor, Nicholas Cage.
Coming off of his awesome role as Ben Riley aka The Spider in the hit Marvel series Spider-Noir on Amazon Prime Video, fans were eager to see homage to the man of many great movies and more.
Hosted and moderated by writer Victor Dandridge, the two sat down to spotlight the incredible career of Cage as well as what he is working on next. Without question one of the most polarizing discussions he had involved his work on Spider-Noir and this thoughts on why he did not mind only doing one season of the series despite fan praise and disappointment of not getting a second season. Many were surprised and perplexed when the news came of the cancellation considering the critically acclaimed success the series received. However, after hearing Cage talk about his stance on Amazon/MGM wanting to use A.I. during the production of Spider-Noir and how he declined any use of it we can get a clearer picture on why a second season isn't coming.
During his NYCC panel, Cage made his position clear with conviction:
“I am not an A.I.-friendly actor, so it's like, connect those dots! I'm not a member of their club.”
Cage also explained that Amazon had allegedly asked him to sign a waiver allowing AI to be used in connection with his performance in Spider-Noir. He refused.
Cage went on to say the following:
“I didn't sign the waiver to let him use AI on ‘Spider-Noir.’ I'm probably not going to be working with that studio again, but that's okay.”
This was met with a loud applauds and cheers from many fans in attendance who agrees with Cage's take on the use of A.I. in creative and organic arts.
Cage (like many artist) believe in having full control of their creativity. He went on to express his desire to work with up-and coming directors and film makers such as Youtuber creators who are breaking the mold of organic creativity in this new generation.
Cage also spoke about his love for comics while also praising writer and moderator Victor Dandridge on his ability as a writer and praised his graphic novel "The Trouble w/ Love."
He went on to announce that he may be in an upcoming season of HBO's True Detective which had the fans very excited.
He also gave us stories of his experience on some of fans favorite films such as National Treasure, Face Off, The Rock, Con-Air and more.
Lastly, he revealed that he will be in upcoming projects called Parish, and another named The Prince.
Overall, one of the most enjoyable Spotlight panels I had the chance of attending. Kudos to moderator Victor Dandridge as I have seen him moderate panels for other fan events and he is always entertaining and provides great chemistry with the people he works with.

The final huge panel that I attended was the huge Naruto panel at Empire Stage.
When they announced that we would have one for the Hidden Leaf Ninja I was very excited and intrigued as to what was going to be announced at this event. We haven't seen anything new in terms of new manga or anime series since Shippden ended in 2014 as well as the first part of the Boruto series ending in 2023 with a second part in the works.
But it was this panel where we would the future of the franchise especially as we know a live action adaptation directed by Spider-Man: Brand New Day director Destin Daniel Cretton is in the works.
The panel started with a dramatic graphic of a scroll shown on the screen counting down the seconds till the panel kicked off.
The panel delivered several major announcements spanning anime, manga, gaming, trading cards, and the future of the franchise. The biggest surprise was confirmation that Masashi Kishimoto is working on a new Naruto manga.
Naruto fans were treated with a very special live appearance of none other than the Japanese voices of Naruto Uzamaki and Sasuke Uchiha, actors Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama as the two presented all in attendance at Empire stage the exciting new developments coming to the world of Naruto.
Also joining the the two iconic actors was Executive producer of PIERROT FILMS Yoshihiro Tominaga.
The ULTIMATE KAGA CROSSOVER is coming!

One of the biggest and unexpected surpise announcements was the upcoming crossover between Naruto and the series that inspired the it.
NINKU is a manga that release years before the original Naruto and is said to be creator Kishimoto has explained that NINKŪ was a major inspiration for Naruto, even saying that Naruto would not exist without it.
If you ever had the opporunity to read, watch, or play anything related to NINKU you can see how the this IP would influence the creation of Naruto. There are some similar characteristics in terms of character design, fighting style, and innovations.
For newer anime fans who may not have heard of Nikku here is a quick FYI.
“NINKU” is a manga created by Koji Kiriyama and published in Weekly Shonen Jump. After its serialization began in 1993, the series' great popularity led to an anime adaptation that started in 1995. Following that, “NINKU” Second Stage: Stories of the Etonin was serialized in Ultra Jump from 2005 to 2011.“NINKU” refers to a martial art unique to the series that resembles a combination of ninjutsu and karate.
Ninku also spawned and anime series which is slightly different from the manga as well as a cult classic fighting game that released on the SEGA Saturn and Game Gear in the 90s.
They also announced that they will be re-releasing the Ninku anime OVA series for all to see on Youtube in order to familiarize people with the series before the special airs.
PROJECT RASENGAN: A new long-term roadmap for Naruto and Boruto
The panel also introduced PROJECT RASENGAN, which is a large-scale global initiative intended to take the Naruto and Boruto franchises into their next phase.
The announcement included a new key visual and promotional video featuring Naruto wielding the Rasengan against a backdrop of memorable moments from the series. More importantly, the project establishes a long-term roadmap linking several areas of the franchise.
The roadmap covers:
Manga and anime.
Video games and mobile games.
Events and other franchise initiatives.
Additional projects that have yet to be announced.
Recently Bandai Namco announced new DLC for the latest installment of the Ultimate Ninja Storm series call NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS which released in 2023. At the time fans wondered why we were finally getting DLC for the forgotten title and after this panel it was clear there was a huge agenda involved.
The NARUTO CARD GAME will officially launch in 2027.
BANDAI CARD GAMES confirmed that the new NARUTO CARD GAME will launch worldwide simultaneously in June 2027.
The panel debuted a new animated trailer produced by Studio Pierrot and showcased new beautiful and stunning card illustrations.
The initial product lineup is planned to feature:
Three starter decks, with Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara as the respective leaders.
The first booster set, titled Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!.
An early-release Official Playmat – Naruto vs Sasuke –.
Premium Card Collection vol.00 – CHAKRA set.
The game revolves around choosing a leader and assembling a team of shinobi to fight alongside that character. Its mechanics are designed to evoke the tactical mind games, ninjutsu, and strategic battles associated with the anime.
Additional rollout plans
Demo tutorial events are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
A spring 2027 campaign is planned to distribute one million demo decks worldwide.
More product and event information will be released through the game's official channels.
This is a major development for collectors and competitive card-game players because the launch is planned as a coordinated global release rather than a rollout limited to Japan.
Check out the official website for more information.
Mobile Naruto fighting game launching worldwide.

Another gaming announcement confirmed that a previously China-exclusive Naruto mobile game is planned for international release.
The game, originally launched in mainland China in 2016, features fast-paced action, anime-inspired ninjutsu, and matchups involving shinobi from across the franchise.
And to really kick off the special event it was announced that it was officially Naruto Day/Naruto's Birthday and to celebrate we were treated with major news that a brand new manga is in the works.
ENTER "NARUTO: SHADOW RISING"
A new NARUTO manga by Masashi Kishimoto coming soon. Not much was said about the premise of this new series but more will be annouced during next year's Jump Fest event.
This announcement left thousands in attendence in complete pandamonium over the big news.
A new manga normally leads to a new anime series and more.
A lot to be excited about for the future of Naruto. If I had one wish it would have been to have both of the English voices of Naruto and Sasuke, Maile Flanagan and Yuri Lowenthal join the panel for a very memoriable moment. It was said that Yuri Lowenthal was available and at NYCC. I also know from source that Flanagan would have loved to have been a part of that panel. Here's hoping for next year.
OVERALL:
All of the panels that that I attended did not dissapoint (and they never do). In the last six years of covering NYCC I have enjoyed all of the great presentations, guest, and surprises that only NYCC can offer. If what I showed you doesn't convince you on why you don't want to miss this event I don't know what to do. Maybe check your fandom card as it may need to be revoked.
